Interior of St.Nicholas Church

Evening Fellowship

The Evening Fellowship is an informal group that meets monthly 8.00-10.00pm on the third Tuesday at venues that vary from month to month. The programme includes speakers and cultural visits such as movies or shows. People are free to come or not to any meeting. They are very supportive of each other.
The group helps raise money for Anglicare Christmas Hampers and run a stall at the annual Fete.

Bible Study

The Bible study group meets regularly 2-3pm on Tuesdays. The study is aimed at those who know little about the Bible.  The text is read in different translations, and the group seeks out the meaning in its original context and applies the message to daily living.
If there are any who would like to meet outside office hours a new group can be started.

Cursillo Groups

Many people in the parish have made their Cursillo. These groups are for mutual support and learning following the Cursillo experience. They meet at various times and places, details of which are available at Parish Office. People who have not done Cursillo are also most welcome.

Choir

The choir helps lead worship at the main 9.30am Sung Eucharist on Sundays. They are led by the organist/ choir director, Geoff Fletcher. They are interested in singing all sorts of music ranging from R.S.C.M. settings to new hymnody.
They are always looking for new members, particularly tenor and bass. Practices are held every Wednesday at 7.30pm.

Order of St Luke

The Floreat Chapter of the Order of St Luke, a worldwide, ecumenical organisation that promotes the healing ministry of the church, holds a healing service weekly on Thursday at 11.00am.
All are welcome. We have seen many people greatly helped by prayer at the meetings. We also pray for sick or injured people daily in our personal prayers.
Our links to the Order of St Luke means we have access to seminars and workshops on healing.

Enquiries regarding baptism / naming  and
weddings are always welcome.
